FAQ

1. Gift wrapping and packaging

All items will be wrapped in a simple plastic wrapper or cloth bag and sent in biodegradable cardboard boxes.

Gift wrapping is available depending on the product. Please check the product description and options for gift wrap.

2. Why is shipping so expensive?

We are located in Japan and international shipping is expensive. Shipping rates are determined by the postal service we use, in this case, Japan Post or Kuroneko Yamato. We cannot control or change the shipping costs.

All packages will be sent with a tracking number.

Insurance is currently not available, but if you wish to insure your packages, please message us. It can be arranged at extra cost.

3. Why do you use stainless steel and not sterling silver?

We use surgical grade stainless steel. It is the same grade as those used to make tools for surgeons. It is inert and most people do not have allergies to it. Sterling silver or 925 silver changes colour over time as it oxides and some people have allergic reactions. Stainless steel is also a harder metal compared to sterling silver and can last longer.

4. What is rhodium and why do you use that instead of sterling silver?

Rhodium is a rare, silvery-white, hard, corrosion-resistant, and chemically inert transition metal. It is a noble metal and a member of the platinum group and is the most expensive of all precious metal. It is also nickel free.

Rhodium is also more expensive than sterling silver or gold currently. We use high quality white gold plated rhodium chains manufactured in Japan. They do not change color like silver.

5. What are your chains made of?

Our chains have several options, 16K gold plated, white gold plated rhodium chains and faux leather chains. For 16K gold plated chains and white gold plated rhodium chains, the color is beautiful and discoloration is slower compared to normal gold plating. It is cheaper and harder than 18K gold plated but lasts the same.

6. Are your jewelry hypollergenic?

All our earrings are made with surgical grade stainless steel. They are hypoallergenic.

Our chains have several options, 16K gold plated, white gold plated rhodium chains and faux leather chains. They are generally hypoallergenic but please make sure you are not allergic to any of them.

We cannot be responsible for any allergy reactions that might occur due to our products. Please make sure you are aware of your own allergies before purchasing.

7. Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled if they have not been packaged and shipped. Once they have been shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. If you do a forced return, there will be no refund provided.

8. I wish to return/ exchange my purchase.

We cannot accept any returns or exchange. All sales are final.

We only accept returns/ exchange if the item you received is damaged, or a wrong item. In such case, the return shipping will be paid by the buyer. The exception is face masks. Due to hygiene issues, we do not accept returns or exchange for face masks for any reason.

9. I do not like what I received, can I get a refund?

No. We do not provide refunds. All purchases are final, please  consider carefully before placing an order.

10. I ordered something for an event and it did not arrive in time. I want a refund. 

We are sorry but our processing times are clearly stated. Delivery times are only an estimate and there can be shipping delays beyond our control. We do not provide any refunds for delayed packages. Please order ahead of time if you need them for a certain occasion.

11. My package got stolen, can you send a replacement?

We are sorry but once the tracking shows the package is delivered, our responsibility ends. We are not responsible for any packages stolen off your property. Please make a police report and claim insurance if applicable.

12. My address provided is wrong, so I didn’t get my package. Can you send again?

We are sorry but it is your obligation to check the address is correct when you key it in during checkout. We are unable to resend your order again. Please place a new order.

13. Why am I charged custom tax? Can I don't pay for it?

Custom taxes are charged by your country. We have no control over it. You have to pay for custom taxes. If you reject a package due to the custom taxes, it will be counted as a forced return and no refund will be given. Please check on your country's custom taxes before purchasing. 

Privacy Policy 

I do not accept returns or exchanges after item has been paid and/ or made. Customs cannot be refunded even if the order is cancelled. This is because I cannot re-sell the customised item. If you have any questions, send me a PM. If you wish to cancel the order for an item, please do so within 6 hours of ordering. Any time later than that I might have started making or packing the item (if it is already made) please send me a message to let me know you wish to cancel.

If you have any issues with the items when it arrived, either broken, not to expectations etc, please message me and we will try to resolve it. I will not be responsible for items/ packages that are broken in transit.

 

Regarding customs tax, please check with your country on custom taxes. We are not responsible on any tax that might incur when your package arrives in your country. Prices listed do not include custom taxes. If you reject a package due to the custom taxes, it will be counted as a forced return and no refund will be given. 

I DO NOT accept forced returns. If you force return any items to me, I will NOT refund you nor send you  a replacement item.

If a package has been sent back to me due to wrong address, non-collection or any other reasons, you will be responsible for re-shipping the item back to you. Cancellation is not allowed. You will NOT be refunded. Shipping costs will not be refunded in any situation.


I will not entertain any claims of broken items, lost packages or any claims with the items 3 weeks after packages have been shipped out. If you have any issues, please message me immediately after receiving the package with photos as proof. Claims will not be entertained without photos of both packaging and product.
